WEEK 3 - PEN TOOL EXERCISE (BEST COMPOSITION)
DESCRIPTION:
In this composition, I used the golden ratio to create a visual balance. The red circle serves as the focal point, drawing the viewer’s attention immediately. From this vibrant center, the viewer’s gaze naturally flows toward the building. The building has the shape that guides the eye downward, ultimately landing on the old couple.
WEEK 4 (ADJUSTMENT LAYERS & FILTERS )
DESCRIPTION:
For the filters, I adjusted the orange circle using curves, enhancing the red tones to make them stand out more compared to the original muted orange. I wanted the orange glow to influence the entire scene, so I applied a cinematic filter to create a cohesive look. The side of the building facing the red circle now has a warm, orange hue, as if it's reflecting the light from the circle, while the side facing away retains its original blue tint, though slightly darker. I also felt that the old couple appeared too vibrant compared to their surroundings, so I added an exclusion layer at 24% opacity to subtly tone down their brightness, blending them better into the overall scene.
